제목 | The Synthesized of the Antioxidant Based on t-butyl Phenols and Evaluated the Oxidation Stability for Biodiesel |
초록 | Biodiesel has great potential as an alternative fuel for compression ignition engines, and one of its great advantages is that it is similar to diesel fuel. Biodiesel is easy to handle because its boiling point is higher than that of diesel and it is an environment-friendly fuel with low smoke emissions because it contains 10% oxygen. Our study have investigated the oxidation stability of various antioxidants such as tert-butyl hydroquinone(TBHQ), propyl gallate(PG), phenylenediamine and phenol derivative on biodiesel made of vegetable oil using the Rancimat test. The effects of antioxidants in biodiesels on engine performance, combustion characteristics, and exhaust emissions were also studied. |
