Effect of graphene and graphene oxide on tonsil –derived stem cells in polypeptide thermogel |

The poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-alanine) diblock copolymer undergoing sol-to gel transition when the temperature increased was synthesized by ring opening polymerization, and was applied to 3D cell culture of human tonsil-derived mesenchymal stem cells(TMSC). The TMSC were encapsulated in the thermogel with graphene and graphene oxide. Cell proliferation and viability were assayed by CCK-8 and Live/Dead methods. The gene and protein expression levels in the cells were analyzed by using real time qPCR and immunofluorescence staining. The result of this study shows that TMSC differentiation in 3D environments depends on graphene and graphene oxide concentration. |
