Currently, the development of thermoelectric (TE) films for flexible TE modules is on the rise to effectively convert thermal energy into electrical energy at the curved surface of the various heat sources. However, the TE paste used in the film production contains a non-conductive organic binder, which causes a decrease in the electric conductivity. We introduce graphene dispersed (Bi,Sb)2Te3 (BST) TE paste to improve TE efficiency based on improvement of electric conductivity of TE thick film. The graphene, which has excellent electrical conductivity, is connected to the surface of the BST grains in the TE film fabricated by using TE paste. That is, the graphene provides a new path for rapid movement of the carriers in the film. As a result, the electrical conductivity of the film containing 2wt% graphene increased about 1.7 times without changing the carrier concentration. |
