제목 Synthesis and characterization of drug-immobilized materials for fabrication ofbiodegradable drug-eluting metal stent
초록 For treating of cardiovascular stenosis, many bare metal stent (BMS) are inserted into human blood vessels. But, 1/3 of patients have been done the surgical procedure again due to the vascular re-stenosisafter stent implantation. To inhibit of this symptom, we prepared the photo-reactive materials based natural polymers such as chitosan, gelatin, hyaluronic acid for immobilization of an anti-proliferative drug, and carried out FT-IR, 1H NMR, GPC, and cross-linking test to identify these materials. Also we performed MTT assay, cell-attachment test, and drug-release test to verify biocompatibility and control cell proliferation after coating the drug-containing materials on the surface of metallic stent.
