제목 Redox Welding for Silver Nanowires Network Electrode
초록 We developed a chemical welding method for AgNWs using a chemical agents containing oxidizing reagent (HNO3) and reducing agent (NaBH4). The redox welding was performed by immersing the as-coated AgNW film into HNO3 solution and dipping into NaBH4 solution. The redox welding reduced the sheet resistance because the each junction between nanowires was fused without changing the transmittance. The sheet resistance reduction was attributed by the reduction of oxidized silver at the nanowire junction. With the repetitive welding process, the junctions of AgNW film could be welded. The optimized AgNW electrodes exhibited 8.5Ω/sq at a transmittance of 91.2% in 550nm. The redox welding enhanced the mechanical flexibility of the electrode compared with the as-coated AgNWs. The redox-welded AgNWs were used as electrode in an OLED. This simple redox welding techniques provides an innovative approach to preparing transparent electrodes for use in next-generation flexible optoelectronic devices.
