Preparation and characterization of LTCC Using waste LCD glass |

LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) technology has emerged in mobile communication system. It has played a pivotal role in rapid communication devices such as cellular phone which we have widely used. Glass/ceramic system can utilize in LTCC technology because the system might drop the processing temperature through mixing with glass powder. LCD glass has been produced over 3000 tons in every year. It is assumed that the waste LCD glass can be reused as an alternative material for LTCC. In this study, we investigated the structural features of waste LCD glass by using density meter, UTM, and compared its properties with a commercial LTCC material. We also observed their micro-structure through SEM. |
