Probing Photo-Degradation in Bulk-Heterojunction Thin Films via Electron Tomography |
초록 |
In organic solar cells (OSCs), controlling morphology of the active layer based on the thin-films can be a key factor to determine the device performance, which strongly affects the charge separation and transport. With improvement of OSC efficiency, the air and thermal stability has been recognized as one of the critical problems for commercialization. However, the direct visualization for interpretation of morphological transition of active layer against external stress has been challenging due to the complex organization of bulk-heterojunction materials and the requirement of high-resolved images. Here, we investigated the morphological transition behavior of a bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) of active layer made of p-n polymer materials by light irradiation using TEM tomography. The chemical changes further were monitored by Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, UV−vis absorbance, with morphological changes. |
