제목 Research Prospectus for Diversifying Hydrogen Production Technologies: Biohydrogen Case
초록 Recently attention has been given to hydrogen as a realistic energy source in place of fossil fuels. Hydrogen based facilities including transportation facilities have been developed and constructed. Hydrogen supply chains are under preparation as well. The downstream infrastructure such as hydrogen storage and transportation is actively constructed. It is an issue to develop sustainable upstream hydrogen infrastructure in terms of production. There is a need to diversify the hydrogen production technologies that is sustainable and economically feasible. With this regards, bio hydrogen production technology is a promising sector in need of further attention. This contribution addresses the recent progress on bio hydrogen technologies in terms of mass production and commercialization. From looking into relevant works, process operation and management issues in bio hydrogen processes are highlighted. Although there is much to be done for commercial introduction, some practical agenda to accelerate the development of bio hydrogen production technologies.
