제목 Surface Modification of Blue Pigment for Color Filter
초록 Pigments for manufacturing color filters were advanced to thermal stability, light resistance and chemical resistance. Nevertheless, the pigments have several shortcomings such as low transmittancy and low contrast ratio due to aggregation of pigment particles. In this study, we focused on surfaced modification blue pigment used as a role of the binder in the millbase process because it has an advantage in solubility of organic solvent. As a result of our focus, we have synthesized new 3 different types of copolymers that consist of copper-phthalocyanine(CuPc) grinded by salt milling process and SiO2 core-shell hybrid composite particles. Then, the particles were modified with various silane coupling agents by condensation reaction. Additionally, modified hybrid particles were investigated their chemical structure, surface morphology, optical characteristics, and dispersion stability.
