제목 Synthesis and characterization of two fullerene derivatives for higher Voc values used as electron acceptor in OPVs
초록 Compared with silicon based inorganic materials, the possibility to use new organic semiconductors offers the prospects of lower manufacturing costs, lightweight solar modules and flexible large-area application. In this study, we designed and synthesized two novel fullerene derivatives, PCMA and PCBA through Diels-Alder reaction, which were confirmed through 1HNMR, 13C NMR and MALDI-TOF Mass. These two fullerene derivatives showed higher light absorption ability in the whole UV-Vis region compared with that of PC61BM in o-DCB solvent. Further, we checked the photovoltaic performance of the bis-adduct. OPVs were fabricated using the configuration as follows: ITO/ PEDOT: PSS/ P3HT: PCBA/ LiF/ Al. The efficiency was enhanced after increasing the annealing temperature and the best performance was as high as 0.71%, with 70 mV higher Voc values compared with PC61BM based OPVs measured under the same conditions.
