In general, the polymer composites can be easily damaged by the fine cracks. As the way to solve these problems, we studied a self-healing film for full recovery against scratches on surface. We have introduced four functional polymer that can be repaired spontaneously after mechanical damage, and synthesized a polymer with self-healing function. The material used in this paper is a liquid-state acrylate-based polymer. Since surface hardness is also an important factor, nano-particles are added to improve surface hardness. As results, we improved the recovery property and surface hardness of self-healing film with nano-particles. |
