제목 Preparation of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles using poly(ethylene oxide -b- N- vinylimidazole)
초록 PEO–based RAFT(reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer) agent was synthesized in THF by the reaction of ω-brominated poly(ethylene oxide) with potassium ethyl xanthogenate. PEO –b- PVI was successfully synthesized in toluene at 70℃ via RAFT polymerization of N-vinylimidazole using PEO-based RAFT agent and AIBN. Water-soluble PEO-based block copolymers exhibited pH sensitive solution behavior of the resulting water-soluble block copolymers was observed. Poly(ethylene oxide -b- N-vinylimidazole) was also utilized as polymeric surfactant to prepare metal nanoparticles such as silver and gold, magnetite. We were successfully prepared magnetite(Fe3O4) nanoparticles.
