Recently, studies have been actively conducted to increase the specific surface area of SnO2 to augment the adsorption amount of oxygen and improve the gas sensitivity. SnO2 has various morphology depending on the synthesis method . Nano-sized flower-like SnO2 has a larger specific surface area than other shapes. In this study, Flower-like SnO2 nanoparticles were manufactured by the hydrothermal synthesis of tin (Ⅳ) chloride Penta hydrate with ethanol - deionized water base. We controlled Synthesis time that can effects morphology of SnO2 particle. The composition and the crystal structure of the nanoparticles were confirmed by EDS and XRD analysis, and the differences in shape and size were confirmed by SEM and TEM. Also, the change of the specific surface area according to the shape and size of the particles was confirmed by BET analysis. |
