Photocrosslinkable Carbazole-based Hole Transport Materials for Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diode |

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are of current scientific and commercial interests for applications in full-color display panels, flexible displays, and solid-state lighting. Although green and red-emitting Ph-OLEDs have been intensely studied in the past, blue Ph-OLEDs are still challenging because of low triplet energy of hole transport materials (HTMs). Depending on the properties of devices, the HTM must be designed and synthesized for satisfying efficient singlet and triplet energy transfer in the solid state. In this presentation we will demonstrate the synthesis of new photocrosslinkable carbazole-based polymeric HTMs exhibiting high triplet energy and thermal stability. The optical and photophysical properties of solution and film states were investigated precisely. Then, we employed the newly synthesized polymeric HTMs for fabricating multilayered Ph-OLEDs for comparing their properties. |
