제목 Inter-Chain Hydrogen Bondable Conjugated Polymer for Enhancing the Stability of Organic Solar Cells
초록 Organic solar cells (OSCs) have been spotlighted recently for light weight, flexibility, and solution processability. But the stability of the OSCs is one of the biggest issues to overcome. In this study, we designed and synthesized an isoindigo based conjugated polymer P1. Thermo cleavable side chains were substituted to both monomers, and the polymerization was conducted via Stille polycondensation. P1 was readily soluble in organic solvents, indicating it can be used in solution process. But once side chains were cleaved via thermal annealing, the structure became planar to form strong π-π stacking and thereof its solubility dramatically decreased. Face-on orientation and densely packed structure led to the improvement of solvents/acid/UV resistance. P1 was introduced as UV-blocking layer and external protective layer of AgNPs in OSCs, and improved light soaking stability of the cells. P1 can be applied to other organic electronic devices thanks to its self-immobilizing property.
