제목 The Inflammatory Responses on Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) Scaffold Compounded Hesperidin 
초록 Hesperidin (Hes) as a type of flavonoid is rich in citrus rind and has effects on anti-aging and anti-cancer by affecting blood pressure, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. The goal of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between Hes and inflammatory in vitro and in vivo. The three-dimensional PLGA scaffolds mixed with Hes 3, 5, and 10% were produced by casting/salt extraction method and confirmed cell attachment and proliferation by the SEM and WST assay anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects by RT-PCR, and FACS in vitro. To characterize in vivo inflammatory responses surrounding the implants, histological examinations was performed at 1 or 4 weeks after implantation. 5% Hes /PLGA scaffold demonstrated better than other wt% Hes /PLGA scaffolds. Thus, Hes has a possibility as a biomaterial for tissue engineering. This research was supported by NRF-2012M3A9C6050204 and the Brain Korea 21 PLUS Project, NRF.
