제목 Preperation and characterization of tetraphnylene structured polymer electrolyte membrane containing grafted propane sulfonic acid
초록 The tetraphnylene structured sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s were synthesized by polycondesation of 4,4-(2,2-diphenylethenylidene)bisphenol (DHTPE), 4,4-hydroxyphenylsulfone and 4,4-fluorophenylsulfone and then followed by bromination and grafting with 3-bromopropane sulfonic acid potassium salt. The polymer salt form was converted to free acid using 1.0 M sulfuric acid solution. All these membranes were casted from dimethylacetamide (DMAc) solution. The structural properties of the synthesized polymers were investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy and FT-IR. The membranes’ properties were studied by ion exchange capacity (IEC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), water uptake, and also proton conductivity assessment. Membrane’s chemical stability was investigated by Fenton test.
