In this study, Functional biomaterials were prepared by mungbaen starch, melanin (MEL), allopurinol (ALP), and plasticizers (glycerol (GL) and xylitol (XL)). The prepared biomaterials were characterized by FE-SEM, FT-IR analysis. Photothermal effects and ALP release properties of biomaterials were evaluated with NIR laser irradiation. When NIR laser was irradiated at MEL added biomaterial, we verified that the temperature was increased from 25 ℃ to 42 ℃. Results of ALP release properties by NIR laser irradiation indicated that ALP release rate of MEL added biomaterials were 1.3 times faster than that of MEL non-added biomaterials. From the results of ALP release using artificial skin, it could be confirmed that ALP release was increased by NIR laser irradiation. In addition, ALP release of biomaterial followed Fickian, but followed non-Fickian with artificial skin. Xanthine oxidase inhibitory (%) for MEL added biomaterials with the addition GL and XL were 61%, and 65%, respectively |
