제목 Li[Ni0.8Co0.15Al0.05]O2 Cathode Materials with Improved Stability through Surface Coating for Lithium-ion Batteries      
초록 Li[Ni0.8Co0.15Al0.05]O2(NCA) is a cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, and is highlighted for its high capacity and power. However, NCA also has disadvantages such as capacity fading and poor rate capability because of its unstable structure due to cation mixing and unwanted side reactions with electrolytes during cycling process.  

In order to improve the structural stability of NCA and suppress its side reactions with the electrolyte, studies has been conducted forming a coating layer enabling improvement of the electrochemical performance while the layer is acting as a barrier on the NCA surface.
