제목 Structurally Simple Non-fullerene SM Acceptors with Symmetric and Asymmetric Side Chains for High Performance OPVs
초록 Organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have been attracted great attention due to many advantages such as flexibility, low cost, and light weight. Through continuous development, the power conversion efficiencies over 13 % have been achieved with low band-gap polymer donors in OPVs. In particular, non-fullerene small molecule acceptors having the acceptor–donor–acceptor (A–D–A)-type structure have recently been reported. Their molecular orbital energy levels and molecular aggregation in the film can be easily controlled by the simple structural modification on the core and/or terminal units. In this work, we synthesized new A-D-A-type small molecule acceptors and they were designed to have various aromatic ring at the core. We measured physical properties of these acceptors including thermal, electrochemical, and optical properties. The OPV devices were also fabricated with low band-gap polymer donors.
