제목 TiO2 nanorod as nanofillers in polymer gel electrolytes in high performance quasi solid state dye-sensitized solar cells
초록 A TiO2 Nanorod (TiO2 NR) is utilized as a nanofiller in polymer gel electrolytes based on poly(ethylene glycol) for quasi solid state dye sensitized solar cells (QSDSSCs). The structural, morphological, optical, and electrochemical properties of the TiO2 NR as nanofillers were characterized in detail using FE-SEM, UV-vis spectroscopy, IMPS/IMVS spectroscopy. Compared to the conventional TiO2 nanoparticle (TiO2 NP, P25) based polymer gel electrolytes, the TiO2 NR electrolyte system features excellent charge transfer rate and improved light harvesting in the QSDSSCs. QSDSSCs utilizing TiO2 NR based electrolyte can achieve an energy conversion efficiency (5.5 %) higher than that utilizing TiO2 NP based electrolyte (5.0 %).
