Metasurface, 2D counterpart of metamaterials, are of intensive interests since its capability of controlling incident light’ optical properties such as amplitude, phase and polarization. The advance of knowledge on metasurface enables simultaneous manipulation of several optical properties, i.e. multifunctional metasurface. We proposed multifunctional all-dielectric metasurface which render color prints in reflection mode and polarized hologram images in transmission mode. To encode several polarized hologram images into single metasurface, superpixel method is adopted thereby digitalizing sets of phase information into the metasurface. Unit pixels of the metasurface are composed of a silicon-based nanoantenna designed to have required propagation phase and reflection spectrum. As a proof-of-concept, we devise optical security platform using our multifunction metasurface and propose detection device using LC cell. |
