제목 Metal Oxide Semiconductor Catalyzed Photocatalytic Splitting of H2S to H2
초록 Photocatalytic splitting of H2S to H2 using solar energy is a challenging, interesting and an eminent topic of research with the potential to provide clean and renewable alternate energy to the mankind. This process requires less energy compared to photocatalytic decomposition of water.
In this paper, we are reporting the photocatalytic decomposition of H2S by using novel spinel oxide photocatalyst, ZnBiGaO4. We have synthesised this photocatalyst by solid-state and hydrothermal methods and characterizing its crystalline property and surface morphology by using XRD and FESEM. The detail characteristics of crystal, band structure and photocatalytic activities of the catalyst will be discussed.
