제목 Influence of flame retardants on combustion behaviorof poly(acrylonitrile-co-vinyl chloride)
초록 In this study, we prepared poly(acrylonitrile-co-vinylchloride) by the suspension polymerization, and investigated the combustion behavior of the copolymer to which the flame retardants was applied. The objective of the research is to suggest the optimum flame retardant and dispersion methods. Various dispersion techniques were applied such as mechanical stirring, ultra sonication, homogenization, etc. Particle size and dispersion stability was evaluated, and then simple flame spread test were evaluated to investigate the changes due to the flame retardants. As a result, it was found that the dispersion stability of the flame retardant was significantly different depending on the dispersion methods. In the simple flame spread test, it was confirmed that the combustion behavior of poly(acrylonitrile-co-vinylchloride) was affected by the flame retardant.
