Natural organic matter(NOM) is the most important foulant due to its possible interaction with membrane surface. Thus, this study is investigated hydrophilic property according to the TiO2 content of the polyether sulfone(PES) membrane integrated with TiO2 nanoparticle for membrane fouling resistance. In addition, by using the spread-exchange rate between the solvent and non-solvent, the optimization condition of the membrane structure was investigated. TiO2 used the anatase TiO2 in which the hydroxyl group is high. The contact angle, dead-end Ultra filtration system, attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffratometer (XRD) were used to charcterized the properties of PES-TiO2 membrane. |
