제목 Self-doping Polypyrrole Nanocomposites Electrochemistry and Structure of the Self-doped System
초록 A novel class of self-doping conjugated polymer, polystyrene-polypyrrole (PSt-PPy) core-shell nanoparticles were successfully prepared via Fe3+-catalyzed oxidative and emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. To induce conductivity of the PSt-PPy core-shell nanoparticles, modified two-stage shot-growth method was introduced. Core-shell structure of the resulting nanoparticles were proved by SEM and TEM. The resulting self-doped conducting core-shell nanoparticles showed conductivity from 0.15 S/cm to 0.2 S/cm after two-stage shot-growth method. The surface compositions and doping level of the self-doped conducting core-shell PSt-PPy nanoparticles were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Calculated the doping level of the self-doped conducting core-shell PSt-PPy) nanoparticles is 28% by using N+ and N atoms area.
