Preparation and Characterization of Top Coating for Mobile Phone (Ⅱ) |

The uv-cured coating system is now commonly used in various industrial applications to achieve a hardening of protective coatings. But there is still an important issue which arises from the shadow areas which cannot be reached by uv-cured coating system.In this study, thermal curable coatings for mobile phone are prepared from urethane oligomer, monomer and adding hardener or not. Then the each solution has coated by spin-coater or spray coating system. Through the process, the properties of top coating are examined by FT-IR, EDS and Viscosity. The surface characteristics of coated plate were evaluated by SEM, Cross Cutting Test and Scratch Resistance and Pencil Hardness. |
