제목 Effect of Thiophene and Selenophene Moiety in Regular Terpolymers on the Performance of Thin Film Transistors and Polymer Solar Cells
초록 The three different terpolymers such as PDPP-TTS, PDPP-TSS, and PDPP-TTSS composed of thiophene and selenophene derivatives cotrolling the conjugation length of repeating unit and the composition ratio of donor moieties were newly designed for the study of the structure-property relationship. This approach makes the three materials to display different optical absorption and electrochemical properties. Interestingly, PDPP-TTSS containing bithiophene (TT) and biselenophene (SS) have edge-on chain orientation which is similar to the copolymers of PDPP-TT containing bithiophene and PDPP-SS bearing biselenophene only while PDPP-TTS and PDPP-TSS showed mixed orientations in face-on and edge-on manners. The device showed the power conversion efficiency (PCEs) of PDPP-TSS and PDPP-TTSS have 4.18 % and 4.76% respectively which indicates that the properties of regular terpolymers were markedly enhanced by inserting the thiophene moiety into the donor part of the DPP-based terpolymer, PDPDP-SS.
