| 제목 | 3-D self-assembly of polymer nanobeads on gold |
| 초록 | Surface functionalized nanobeads have been prepared through single step heterogeneous polymerization technique, followed by chemi-sorption onto inert gold surface to provide well ordered 3-D self-assembly hyperstructure for the applications of microelectronics and biomaterials. Monodisperse polystyrene nanobeads with carboxylic acid on the surface were prepared by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization, and then functionalized by thiol-containing hydrocarbon. Self-assembly of these fuctionalized nanobeads on gold microsphere was examined by electron microscopy and XPS to verify structural homogeneity and stability. |
