제목 Tuning Sb-Promoted Cu3V2O8 on TiO2 Surface via SOY2--Functionalization for NH3-SCR
초록 Cu3V2O8 is a promising catalytic phase, whose performance to reduce NOX by NH3 (NH3-SCR) is greatly improved through its coupling with Sb dispersed on TiO2 (Cu3-Sb). A method to further improve catalytic consequence of Cu3-Sb is suggested to functionalize its surface with SOY2- species (Y=3 or 4). This can result in the dissociation of Cu3 and the production of various Cu, V or Sb SO32-/SO42- species, where the temperature used for SOY2- functionalization primarily directs type, trait, and distribution of surface metal species. In addition to a spectrum of analytic techniques, reaction runs also serve to characterize catalytic surfaces modified by SOY2- at 300-500 °C. 400 °C is concluded as the optimum temperature to promote NH3-SCR performance because 400 °C can populate surface CuSO4 and SOY2--modified metal species, whose ionic S-O feature was well-balanced by covalent S-O character.
