Cross-linkable peptide hydrogel induced by visible light for enhancement of mechanical strength to therapeutic applications. |
초록 |
A number of strategies exist to design supramolecular nanomaterials based on self-assembled peptides and their derivatives. These include soft materials based on a varied nanoarchitectures.especially, supramolecular peptide hydrogels offer the fabrication of potential 3D biomaterial scaffolds in tissue engineering due to their remarkable bioactive, biocompatible and biodegradable features. However, these hydrogels have low mechanical properties and are inclined to breakage under a weak disturbance. The mechanical weakness considerably limits the practical therapeutic applications owing to easily erode to water. Therefore, we inoculate the visible light induced cross-linking which is not harmful to living organisms to manipulate peptide hydrogel for enhancement of mechanical strength. The mechanical strength was controlled by the the position of cross-linkable moiety and amino acid sequence.These controlled hydrogels might provide an opportunity to fabricate drug release 3D scaffolds. |
