제목 | Portable ozone generation by boron doped diamond |
초록 | Interest in ozone, O3, production is steadily growing mainly due to its high oxidation power and because it is an environmentally clean reagent. Among its many applications, ozone is commonly used in water treatment, bleaching of wood pulp, combustion of resistant organic pollutants, and clean-up of effluents. Electrochemical generation of O3, when compared to the traditional "corona" technology, is capable of producing mush higher ozone concentrations although at the cost of higher electrical energy consumption. To permit applications where a high ozone concentration is required, several conditions of EOP has been investigated, e.g., in acidic solutions based-cell, having diverse configurations. |
