Fabrication of Hollow Particles with a Hole on the Surface |
초록 |
Hollow particles with a hole on their surface can be obtained by adding a small amount of solvent to particles dispersed in DI water and then freeze-drying. An organic solvent is highly miscible with the particles but immiscible with water. The solvent diffused into the particles forms an evaporation flux in the freeze drying process, resulting in holes on the surface. The hole and interior void size of the hollow particles can be controlled by varying the amount and type of solvent used for swelling. The tendency of the size change of the surface hole and the interior void of the hollow particles according to the amount of solvent and the solvent type were same regardless of the diameter of the initial solid particles used for forming the hollow particles. |
