The Acrylated Epoxidized Soybean Oil (AESO) has been used in various fields such as coating agent, plasticizers, adhesive paint, electronic circuit board, construction materials, printing. AESO have a disadvantage to thermal properties. In order to increase of thermal properties, used Fumed silica (FS). In this study, thermal decomposition behavior of AESO/FS composites using fumed silica were investigated. The AESO/FS composites were compounded with various fumed silica content (5, 10, 15, 20 wt%). TGA and DMA were used to measure the changes of thermal decomposition behavior and mechanical properties as a function of temperature and the relationship was examined. And XRD was used to analyze the structure of AESO/FS composites. FE-SEM was used to determine the dispersion phase and compatibility of polymer composites matrix. The mass loss was decreased and the glass transition temperature was increased with increasing fumed silica contents. |
