Preclinical evaluation of bioabsorbable polymer coated drug-eltuting stent |

Coronary artery disease had been treated by percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) as a Drug-eluting stent. Drug-eluting stent have improved in-stent restenosis with bare metal stent after PTCA. We devolped bioabsorbable polymer coated drug-elutings stent with sirolimus that sustained release for 6 months. The aim of this study was to evaluate the bioabsorbable polymer coated drug-elutings stent with sirolimus in a porcine coronary restenosis model.
