제목 In-vitro study of comparison between Porous and Non-Porous PLGA (poly lactic- co- glycolic acid) Microspheres with Apatite Coating and BMP-2
초록 Poly (D, L- Lactic- co- Glycolide) (PLGA) is excellent biodegradable polymer. It has been studied for bone-tissue engineering to enhance tissue regeneration in the bone defects. In this study, we developed a new DDS (Drug Delivery System) from Apatite coating on Bone morphogenetic protein- 2 (BMP- 2) loaded porous PLGA microspheres for bone tissue regeneration. At first BMP-2 loaded non- porous and porous PLGA microspheres were fabricated by W/O/W1/W2 double emulsion and solvent evaporation method. Then it was coated with apatite by immersion in SBF (simulated body fluid) solution depending on incubation time. The morphology and microstructure of the formed micro particles were characterized by SEM, FTIR, EDS etc. The drug loading and drug release profile from the fabricated micro particles were investigated and evaluated. Then invitro biocompatibility was evaluated by one cell attachment and proliferation and MTT.
