제목 Fabrication of cysteine functionalized graphene oxides/polyethersulfone nanocomposites membranes having improved antifouling properties
초록 In this study, cysteine functionalized graphene oxide (CysGO) was successfully synthesized and CysGO/Polyethersulfone (PESf) nanocomposites membranes was prepared by solvent casting method. Cysteine was attached to the surface of graphene oxide by thiol-ene click reaction between thiol group of cysteine and double bond of graphene oxide. CysGO/PESf composites membranes were obtained with different filler concentrations by non-solvent induced phase separation(NIPS) method. The filtration performance of prepared membranes was evaluated by a dead-end filtration cell test. The presence of CysGO showed anti-fouling activity since zwitterionic moieties of CysGO inhibited absorption of BSA protein on membranes. The flux of membranes decreased with the introduction of CysGO nanofillers since the extra wall of CysGO was induced on the membrane.
