Preparation of epoxy/polyaniline composites with high dielectric constant for embedded capacitor applications |

Embedding the discrete passive components into the substrate board of microelectronic product such as printed circuit/wiring board has been paid attention as an important method to miniaturize the electronic product. Novel materials with high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss as well as with processibility are necessary for the embedded passive applications. In this study, we prepared epoxy/polyaniline(PANi) composite with high dielectric constants via in-situ polymerization of aniline salts doped with camphorsulfonic acid(CSA) and dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid(DBSA). Effect of PANi content and dopant type on morphology and dielectric constant along with dielectric loss of the composites was investigated by FE-SEM and impedance analyzer. |
