제목 | Microstrucutes and Properties of Selective Laser Sintered Co-Cr Alloys with Different Powder Conditions |
초록 | Additive manufacturing (AM) technique such as selective laser sintering (SLS) process is progressively being utilized for biomaterials like cobalt-chrome (Co-Cr) and Ti6Al4V etc. In this research , the Co-Cr powders produced by gas atomization were used as the starting materials for the SLS process. This work is studying the consolidation of Co-Cr alloy powder and characterization of sintered samples by using SLS in various powder parameter's and process conditions. The results clearly showed that besides matrix phase, the second phase which is attributed to pores and oxidation particles were observed in the sintered specimens. The as-built samples also exhibited the totally different microstructures with the casting or wrought products in the literature. It also exposed the extremely fine grain sizes inside melt pools resulting in the enhancement of hardness of the as-built products. Thus, the hardness values of samples prepared by SLS with all parameter conditions used in this work were evidently higher than that of casting products. This research was supported by The Leading Human Resource Training Program of Regional Neo industry through the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Science, ICT and future Planning (grant number) (NRF-2016H1D5A1910587). |
