제목 | Electrodeposited Zinc-Indium Alloy on Gas Diffusion Layer for Electrochemical Reduction of CO2 to CO |
초록 | To hinder the acceleration of global warming, many researches to reduce the concentration of CO2 have been investigated. The electrochemical reduction of CO2 is one of the technologies of CO2 conversion as well as can produce various fuel such as CO, HCOOH, CH4 and CH3OH. Particularly, high selectivity to CO production from electrochemical reduction of CO2 is shown in noble metal (e.g., Au, Ag). However, because of drawback such as their scarcity and high cost, noble metal utilization has been blocked in commercial application. In this study, the Zn catalyst with various morphologies was fabricated by using electrodeposition method. In addition, In precursor was added in deposition solution to suppress H2 generation and increase selectivity of target product. Finally, prepared Zn-In alloy catalyst has been applied as cathode for CO2 reduction electrolyzer. |
