Silver nanowire (AgNW) is a promising material for flexible transparent electrodes as an alternative to expensive and brittle indium tin oxide (ITO) films. Flash lamp processing is a powerful approach for future flexible electronics since it enables easy, rapid, scalable, and low-temperature fabrication without using expensive equipment and toxic materials. However, AgNW flash lamp annealing research on flexible substrate doesn’t show high performance caused by insufficient junction welding of AgNW random mesh. In this research, we report high performance junction welded flexible transparent electrode (97 % transmittance, 35 ohm sheet resistance) using high intensity flash lamp processing on polyester (PET) substrate. In order to demonstrate the practical feasibility, we successfully demonstrated a high performance transparent nanogenerator using flash lamp annealed AgNW inter digitate electrode on PET. It exhibited high transmittance (80 %) and high performance (40 V, 10 µA). |
