Implantable neural interface has been one of the most difficult challenges in developing biomedical active prostheses for more than a decade. Up to date, no single material can possess ideal physicochemical properties for chronically implantable neural electrodes. Here, we successfully constructed hybrid composites on a gold microelectrode with conducting polymers, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), and graphene oxides (GOs) by electrochemical synthesis. PEDOT:PSS/GOs showed enhanced neuronal differntiation of the PC 12 cells more than that of the PEDOT:PSS |
