제목 Design of Multiloop PI Controller for Disturbance Rejection in Multivariable Processes
초록 The proposed method presents a new analytical approach for designing multiloop PI controllers which make the multivariable control systems approved responses to disturbances. It is a variation of the generalized IMC-PID approach (Lee et al.,1998) from single-input, single-output (SISO) systems to multiple-input,multiple-output (MIMO) systems in case of disturbance rejection. A gereral form for the parameters of multiloop PI controllers can be obtained by the Maclaurin series expansion of both the desired closed-loop response matrix which contains the IMC filter for rejection dominant poles in the multivariable process and the multiloop controllers with an integral term. The simulation and comparative results show that the proposed method gives not only a satisfactory performance but also stability and robustness for the multi-loop PI control systems.
