제목 Nanofiber nonwovens of poly(vinyl alcohol) doped with surfactant via electrospinning
초록 Recently, it has increased to be interest in another method of fiber production. Electrospinning that can consistently produce fibers, which are sub-micron in diameter. Charaterization of the formation of electrospun nanofibers shows that solution viscosity and surface tension of solution are the main factors. Surfactant can be defined as compounds having a nature to gather around the interface between two different materials altering the properties of the interface remarkably.
In the present work, we have prepared nanofiber nonwovens from poly(vinyl alcohol)/surfactant mixture and investigated their properties. Distilled water was used as solvent. The structure and morphology of PVA nanofiber nonwovens doped with surfactant were analyzed by SEM, WAXD and DSC.
