제목 | Electrospun nanofibrious structure of PTT/Surfactant |
초록 | PTT(polytrimethylene terephthalate) is prepared by polycondensation of TPA(terephthalic acid) or DMT(dimethylene terephthalate) with PDO(1,2-propanediol), Although this synthesis method and chemical structure are very similar with the PET(polyethylene terephthalate), the mechanical and thermal properties of the PTT are quite different with PET. Electrospinning is one of the recently developed techniques to make fiber in submicron to nanometer range. Electrospun fibers were formed as nonwovens mat when high electric voltage is applied to the polymer solution or polymer melt. In this study, we used the electrospinning technique to prepare the nanofibrous mat of PTT added with two different types of surfactants, In the absence of surfactants, periodicallly change in surface roughness of the mat as a function of deposition time was observed. Mostly, our study was focused to observe the role of surfactants to change the surface morphology of the mat. SEM, DSC, TGA, FT-IR methods were carried out to characterize the mat. |
