Nanoemulsion is newly developing delivery system for drugs and bioactive agents. Nanoemulsion is consisting of heterogeneous systems such as continuous and dispersed phases. This technique can be utilized also for cosmetic purposes. Drugs immiscible in continuous phase can be entrapped in dispersed phase. In this investigation, we examined the effects of the preparation conditions including drug concentration, types of surfactant, and process conditions including mixing rate on the nanoemulsion formulation. The properties of nanoemulsion will be analyzed using scanning electron microscope, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscope, and zeta potential. The drug release kinetics was analyzed using high performance liquid chromatograph. The biological function of the nanoemulsion will be evaluated using fibroblast cell proliferation. |
