The influence of preparation temperatures on the photocatalytic activity and properties of the C3N4/ZnO composite photocatalyst |

In this study, C3N4/ZnO composite photocatalysts were synthesized at various preparation temperatures and characterized with diverse analytic methods in order to investigate the effect of preparation temperatures on the photocatalytic behavior of the C3N4/ZnO composite materials, which are an organic/inorganic hybrid photocatalyst to overcome the drawbacks of each photocatalyst. The polymerization to form C3N4 was influenced by the preparation temperatures in the presence of ZnO. On the basis of photocatalytic tests and characterizations, the best preparation temperature for the composite materials was suggested with the illustration for the interaction between C3N4 and ZnO in the polymerization process. |
