제목 Discontinuous Dewetting in a Degassed Mold for Fabrication of Homogeneous Polymeric Microparticles
초록 Discontinuous dewetting is a powerful technique which is used to create isolated liquid arrays by draining the excess liquid from the mold's surface. Especially discontinuous dewetting in a degassed mold allows liquid to be filled in microwells with high uniformity. Using this process, we could synthesize particles with high resoolution in microscale. Extra curing methods such as thiol-ene Michael addition reaction or pouring phase change material enable the particles to have additional features and submerging the mold under fluorinated oil prevents water evaporation in the liquid precursor. Also, encapsulating magnetic nanoparticles inside hydrogel matrix makes rinsing process time-effective with no adverse impact on immunoassay performances.
