Preparation and characterization of O-carboxymethyl chitosan using pH sensitive amphotericin B delivery |
초록 |
The aim of this study was to increase therapeutic efficiency of antifungal agent and characterize a pH-sensitive particle as a targeted antifungal agent delivery. The amphotericin B (AmB) as antifungal agent is most effective drug in the treatment of fungal infection. However, AmB is insoluble aqueous solution and highly cytotoxic in low concentration, lmiting phamatherapeutic treatment. This is major problem to use AmB for anti fungal agent. Therefor, PEG modified AmB was conjugated to target ligand modified O-carboxymethyl chitosan (OCMCh). The AmB particle showed pH -sensitive response in fungal growth condition and infection region. The AmB/OCMCh particle structure and AmB content of them were detected by FT-IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMR and HPLC. |
