Real time hydrogen isotopes separation/analysis would be an important task to investigate nuclear fusion reaction. ITER is considering a cryogenic gas chromatography that is used in the hydrogen isotopes analysis. However, the method has disadvantages of long analysis time and complex prepare processs. Moreover, hydrogen isotopes are quite difficult to separate each component by single device, because of mass similarity. So, we tested a H2-He and a H2-D2 mixture gas at first. The calibration curves of He,H2 and the main peak values of H2, D2 were obtained by GC and QMS. The flue gas detected in GC TCD, directly lined to the QMS suction under 4.0x10-4 Pa in GC-QMS connection, H2+(mass 2), HD+(mass3), D2+(mass 4) shows a linearity in QMS at H2-D2 mixture gas. As a result, analysis of hydrogen isotopes with GC-QMS system in a room temperature shows a possibility of quantitative separation/analysis. |
